straightj23
Hey. I'm curious to know what you're favorite Phantom Regiment moments are. The crab-stepping from 1993? Pachabel's Canon in 2003? Classic moments in the 70s and 80s? Favorite ballads? Favorite shows? Everything Phantom Regiment! What do you guys think?
PhantomCadet1934
My favorites: Harmonic Journey in 2003- also one of my favorite ballads, and a lot of great musical moments. and War and Peace in 1992.
PR ROCKS
As much as I loved the 2003, 2006 and 2008 shows and believe that 2008 is the most well planned, ingenious and well performed show, my two favorite moments are mainly musical moments: 1) 1989 - the finale of the New World Symphony, when the sopranos played the melody up an octave right before the final push....the whole place already on their feet, and it made me go weak in the knees. 2) 1996 - the emotional build of the opener, and the power of the brass hit at the same moment the full color guard started spinning the red flags....overwhelmingly strong emotional musical moment for me. TA67
2006: Ave Maria and the part right before the end with the kick halt I think? 2003: Ballad and canon hits 2008: Entire freaking thing 2007: Flower duet/drum break 1996: Opener 2005: Certain parts like the trumpet solo in American in Paris I love pretty much any phantom show, but those really stand out to me. Lance
I actually like about 10 sets of drill leading up to the crab walk in their 93 show as much or more than the crab walk itself. Really ingenious stop points in the drill that go perfectly with the music.
megadrive
Favorite moment EVAR? Well there's the 1989 ending hit, 93 crab stepping, tuba beginning IN 96, 03 CANON, TOO MANY DOES NOT COMPUTE ERROR ERROR ERROR.

Chris Scott
Looking up at the crowd after everyone had shed their helmets and jackets (and some...horns) after the Bachanale in 1991. The wedge at the end of Fire of Eternal Glory in 1993. The company front and push in 1987. The Amen in Ave Maria "Judges...are you watching...?" to the end "NINE EIGHT POINT ONE............." Listening to a rabid crowd (in the finale) clamor to yell "I AM SPARTACUS!" Hey.
