84BDsop
Red t-shirt with the SCV sop line marching forward...no words needed. I had one in '88. Trivia....the pic used as reference for that guy is from the 85 DCI yearbook...it's the push from "Tenderland," the 84 closer (my all time fave push)...the sop modelled is Jeff Graf....I marched with him at San Diego State...last I knew, he was in the Navy and had flown the A-6 Intruder in combat in Desert Storm. skewerz
I just wish corps would sell 3xt and 4xt shirts. back in the day, I could get away with a 2x shirt. I remember my yellow Bridgemen shirt fondly, and a teal Madison shirt. I woulda killed this year for a navy Iron Horse Express 4xt t-shirt this year. nukeme70
I had one from Phantom, around '88 or '89. Bart Simpson wearing a Phantom uniform, holding a 2valve sop, and saying "Totally radical horn, dude". I used to see all kinds of people wearing (even under their corps uniforms!) our Black Knights shirt from around '86 - had a Black Knight on a horse wielding a joust. I still have my "Why drum corps...band" shirt, as well as the "Kick some grass" shirt - the latter might have been sold at the Freelancer booth, but it was part of a series of shirts by Hard Corps productions. Another good one that one of our members had, from SkyRyders: "Birds Can't Fly at DCI". I believe that was from '84 or '85, as a note about a penalty they received for releasing doves during their show.
Jeff Ream
My favorite was, "See Dick Do Drum Corps"It had several images of a stick figure experiencing the many fun aspects of drum corps. I'm pretty sure it's an 80s shirt, but couldn't tell you what corps. A close second is the, "Be Afraid of the Dark," Phantom Regiment shirts. I got a kick out of the "Boring" shirts that Glassmen put out in the early 2000s. i liked the old drumese shirts too, circa early 90's Vk i think
Jeff Ream
Ask jeffsnewjetta and Fran Haring about the Westshoremen Alumni "World Tour" t-shirt.On the back it lists all the shows, and says IIRC.... . . . . . "Forum - Harrisburg, PA" (Corps only does one show a year ) 60th anniversary tour

Mistress Kelli
Using the old David Letterman logo... Late Night with Drum Corps on the back it had a Top Ten list but don't remember what it was. Sure wish I could buy that shirt again!

Sure wish I could buy that shirt again! Great shirt! I have two of 'em myself (the original black w/yellow lettering, and the early 90's gray with black lettering). The black one is not wearable, but I still wear the grey one a lot.
