va9590jm
I would be upset if Bluecoats played Lennon's Imagine. It's Cascades' corps song. Whatever the show maybe, I'm interested in seeing where they take this. Just because Russian Christmas Music is the Crossmen corps song didn't stop SCV from using it in 87 and 05. I march Bluecoats and if someone used Autumn Leaves I wouldn't hate on them. Its a pretty famous tune and my corps can't just hold a monopoly on it. Kind of like Russian Christmas Music and Crossmen and, Imagine with the Cascades. P.S. Don't the Crossmen also use Birdland as a corps song? corps8294
Autumn Leaves? I thought the corps song was Salt Peanuts! LOL! Great drum solo in '86, by the way.

Don't the Crossmen also use Birdland as a corps song? Russian Christmas Music is the official Corps song. Birdland is a song the Crossmen have used prominently several years and is a big part of the history (not to mention, a bus hype song). It is a very important song to the Crossmen, but not as important as Russian.
bluecoats88
Autumn Leaves? I thought the corps song was Salt Peanuts! LOL! Great drum solo in '86, by the way. thanks, it was fun playing. little trivia you might not know but we almost added a vocal on the last Salt Peanuts, Salt Peanuts lick where instead of the drum line playing the lick the horn line would stop in their drill and say Salt Peanuts, Salt Peanuts. We could never get the timing to come out right - horn players have no sense of timing.
HOOKEDBYLEGEND78
IF...there is any tie-ins to Beatles music, then I humbly suggest NO Jazzaphonic, 1992 stuff - PLEASE! I also thought of the Travelers commercials when I first saw the pic. I'm going to Imagine Catherine Zeta-Jones for a while now. (Homer Simpson voice: "Ummmmmmm.... Catherine Zeta-Jones!!!) Elmo Blatch
These came to mind as soon as I heard the show was entitled "Imagine." And oddly, given the time of year, this one.

MikeD
did you ever see the movie "The Thomas Crown Affair" with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo? if not then the effect in the 2007 criminal show would have been lost on you since it was based on something in that movie. Not to mention the ORIGINAL film with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway back in the late 60's. Pretty neat that Faye Dunaway was given a role in the new one as well...and looking as GREAT as ever!
