boxingfred
In 2006 Cadets had an excellent set player. He plays marimbas for Crown now.
Daave
I can remember Buddy Rich playing some pretty outstanding WSS... Indeed. Some WWS, but MOSTLY BR! http://www.drummerworld.com/Videos/buddyrichwestside73.html http://www.drummerworld.com/Videos/buddyrichwestside82.html
idontwan2know
Add this to the earlier suggestion of some "jazz piano" and it seems some sort of jazz combo will figure strongly into the show. They're not the only corps I've heard tossing this concept around.
contrajedi8
In 2006 Cadets had an excellent set player. He plays marimbas for Crown now. Wow. Like, more than one marimba at one time? ####. Good find for Crown!

Jeff Ream
miced sets are fairly new though. true. my take is while BD usually has few balance issues with amping, Cadets seem to have day to day issues.
Stryfe
Wow. Like, more than one marimba at one time? ####. Good find for Crown! It actually reminds me a lot of when a language arts teacher gave us a vocab sheet that she or some other nimrod in the department wrote for a book that used a lot of hispanic words, like "marimbas," which was apparently the singular for the oh-so-obscure instrument. We were, of course, tested on it.
Michael Boo
Wow. Like, more than one marimba at one time? ####. Good find for Crown! Sometimes, a single player playing one marimba at a time just isn't enough to get the juices flowing.
