Jehensley
No Love for the California Knights.... The CA Knights get slammed in the Power Poll, and then go and win thier 6th show in a row and post their highest score of the year. Next thing we are going to hear aboutthe inflated scores out west. Props to the Eagles for thier jump. They must have finished a major rewrite.

hostrauser
No Love for the California Knights....The CA Knights get slammed in the Power Poll Hmm... according to my spreadsheet, the California Knights had the 8th highest score on Saturday night out of the Regional Finals, and there were four other corps within 0.05 of them. Gee, maybe 6th in the Power Poll is a little too generous...

Chris Rohn
The Corps of Unspecified Identity will finally return to competition tonight after spending the start of the week refining our program, mnml. We had a free day at Cedar Point yesterday, and the kids all had a great time riding the coasters. The weather is perfect in Cleveland today, currently 73 and sunny. Couldn't ask for nicer weather than this. Dude, Where's My Corps? really turned up the heat last night in Lexington, earning the gold medal with a score of 81.140 and besting silver medalists The Screws by well over a point. This is a continuation of the situation in Cookeville, TN where they beat The Patriots by a similar margin. The Detroit City Council, as crazy as they are, make a fine drum corps with Council President Ken Cockrel, Jr. leading the corps to a win in Potomac, MD last night over the Cape Cod Regiment, scoring 77.025. This was their first performance since Ke'eau, HI on July 2, where they placed 3rd and improved their score by almost 4 points. The corps chose to skip regionals this year, instead focusing their time off on what to do about those Billy Dee Williams billboards for Colt 45 that sprung up on every block of the city. "We have to check ourselves," said Cockrel. "I see a lot of people buying 40 ounces."
UltraMello
Silver Streak is honored to be hosting the Cleveland show. It's not exactly our home field, but we have the crowd behind us! His Honor the Mayor of Cleveland was planning to attend, but was forced to cancel because of a scheduling conflict. Silver Streak looks forward to showing Cleveland's hospitality to all units competing tonight, as well as their support staff.
hostrauser
All three Glory of Music corps will be competing in Cleveland tonight, their first show since Regionals. In keeping with our design staff's motto ("We'll have it to you tomorrow!") we're in the middle of some show re-writes. As these are currently incomplete, we have tempered expectations for tonight's shows.
gcurrier
its clear I picked a very DEMANDING tour for Knight Org this season! Great PACKED show last night and KNights came up with a silver and Les Blanc Chevalier GOLD! Have a few re-works in play for this weekend that we have not added into the shows until they are ready--should have us looking good! Ex VK DM
Jeff, Just want to make sure that there wasn't some kind of extraction or data entry error when getting scores, because the bottom fell out of some corps. (dropping 20 points).
