DCP-I XII Season Discussion

First of all, great show in St. Louis last night!!

Competition winner Quicksilver bested 2nd place Silver Streak by a scant 0.070...and there was only a 0.27 gap between 2nd and 3rd, and 0.040 between 3rd and 4th.

This is Silver Streak's best placement to date!!

Kudos to all for a job well done!

I agree. :unhappy: The Black Mages had its very first show that night and it looks like they are getting a great first start. Also congrads on all the St. Charles and St. Louis groups that performed that night.

Firebird has jumped back up to 76.410 and a silver medal finish in Valdosta, GA last night. Hopefully we can keep this comeback rolling!

If I am remembering things correctly, California Knights and the Corps of Unspecified Identity are the first to break 80 points this season. Congratulations to both!!

Silver Streak, competing at Riverside CA, earned their highest score to date with a 76.865. The entire staff of Silver Streak is very proud of all our members...their months of work is paying off better than we could have imagined!

After the Hoover show, the Members of the Challengers were surprised to learn that their tour schedule had been altered and rather than heading to Hammond as planned they had pulled out of their next 2 shows and the buses were instead headed to California to bring some Florida love to the West coast. The corps will take the field again in San Diego on the 6th.

Man those Tokyo Tornadoes have some big bucks. In Riverside, Ca one night. The next they are in Lynn, MA. Finally ending up in Hawaii the 3rd night.

We need new sponcers!! :worthy:

EDIT: PS. Are they from Californina or Tokyo? Would be the difference in having a Open Class International Champion or not. Because we have Lunar Eclipse as the lone open class international corps.

The Detroit City Council runs a similar type of schedule. They never play in the same state twice in a season, and they always visit Mexico and Canadian provinces when dates are available on the schedule. Detroit's taxpayer dollars at work!

So I will treat them as such, like DCI does Yamato..........a California corps.
