oldbandguy
The regiment.org page sayes 'yes', but most of those seats are probably VIP seats - a bit more money but at the 50 yard line top of the stadium.Otherwise as long as you get a seat towards the top of the stadium, its a pretty good view even at the 30 yard line. I was told the VIP seats are sold out! They were $55, but come with preferred parking pass and a BBQ dinner. Not a bad deal at all.

Last year the VIP section was EMPTY. But then, the beer tent, excuse me I mean the food and beverage tent was packed for the entire show. Maybe the VIPers stayed down there ALL show????? BigBadMadMan
*sigh* The last 24 or so hours prior to the first show of the season are always the longest...
rkfdPRphan
I live and work just a few miles from Boylan Stadium where the Show of Shows is going to be held. If it will help anyone with their travel plans, I can start posting the weather as I see it from outside my window at work, maybe starting at noon or so. Would that be of any help???? Would that be of any help???? Knowing Rockford weather this year, it will most likely go something like this... 9a - partly cloudy 68 degrees 10a - a few more clouds 71 degrees 10:14a - hey where did that rain come from? 10:38a - is that thunder? 11:17a - this is going to be a long day 12:08p - hey, just a drizzle now...could dry up. 1:17p - clouds are breaking! 2:05p - I think we're in the clear 2:11p - Wow, those clouds moved in fast. 2:35p - What's this siren going off for? 2:38p - Signing off...headed for the storm shelter. 3:04p - All clear. 3:11p - Looks clear to the west. 4:18p - What? Not again. Something like that. Maybe even snow before midnight. Rockford.
