8. 2000 - The Mask of Zorro (this was the show that made me want to march Crown)

9. 2001 - Industry

10. 2002 - Greek Mythology. It obviously wasn't the best Crown show, but perhaps one of the most important for the organization. It was still fun to march, too.

Crown has consistently put out incredible shows every since since 2003, IMO. They are one of the few corps whose shows I seem to like every year.

Here are mine:

1. 2008 - Finis: Great hornline, great music, entertaining drill...

2. 2009 - The Grass Is Always Greener: This one could move up by the end of the year. Very powerful, and one of the few exciting shows this year.

3. 2007 - Triple Crown: Great music with some fun visuals. The added talking at the end really sucked, but other than that, it was great!

4. 2005 - Angelus: Music. That is all.

5. 2003 - Bell-isimo: Pretty cool, nothing that really stands out to me.

6. 2004 - Bohemia: This one was ruined by the singing and the speaking. Great Bohemian Rhapsody though...

7. 2000 - The Mask of Zorro: I liked this one a lot when I saw them that year. It just can't hold up to the great shows Crown has put out since then.

8. 2001 - Industry: Meh.

9. 2006 - In.Trance.It: Double Meh.

10. 2002 - Greek Mythology: Stories of Gods and Heroes (and pink togas) : Only in tenth because I never saw it. I have no real opinion of this show other than the guard outfits were terrible (I did see pics)

1. 2005 One of my most listened to drum corps shows. Great brass.

2. 2009 It's been a long time since we've seen a southern corps do this well!

3. 2006 Many found the music off-putting, but I loved it.

4. 2003 The show that started Crown's surge. Great pit arranging.

5. 2004 The poetry was cringe-worthy. The singing, while not THAT bad, should have been replaced by a small brass ensemble. Great show otherwise, even though some DCPers worried that emulating bohemians might lead some members of the corps astray! To my knowledge that didn't happen.

6. 2008 A fun, enjoyable show. Loved watching it live, but I don't listen too it that much.

7. 2007 See number 6.

8. 2000 Loved it when I saw it live, but it can't really compare to what Crown has done since.

9. 2001 No comment.

10. 2002 No comment.

Angelus was one of the first drum corps shows I'd ever heard, and I've been hooked on Crown's sound ever since. I don't think I'll be able to decide between 2008 and 2009 until the broadcast Thursday.
