madalumni
Great job Troopers! I was hoping Madison could have been there with you in finals. If that had happened, we would have had all 5 founding corps in the top 12 at the same time. Troop, Madison, SCV, Blue Stars and SCV. Maybe next year. But until then....CONGRATULATIONS TROOPERS for a great job and a great show in 2009!

Phillygwm
And, in a year where so many of the shows seemed non-descript to me, it was a Troopers lick that I was whistling as I left the stadium
bmroth1
Just got back home and wanted to say congratulations to the Troopers! It is very gratifying for corps fans alike to see such a class organization return to finals. It was a great year and the Corps should be VERY proud of everything they have accomplished! kaseyW
I don't know if this was mentioned but it's been 23 years since Phantom scored under 90. And for the recorde BD on that year.
ob1thx1138
I just got home and I would like to say a special thanks to the troopers for inviting me into the center of their horn warm up. A truly wonderful experience I will never forget.

Um, sorry, maybe you meant a different thread, but that is not related AT ALL to this one. - Thanks :) -------------- On to Troop: [preface: I marched Troop Guard '08] Fantastic job out there, oh and Dave, Michelle came back? She's a sweetheart. Guardguy: I would have been out there this summer, but I was being a little responsible with my life and taking some summer classes (family couldn't help me bear the $$burden of marching)
skajerk
For those that weren't there for finals: 1. What was the crowd reaction when they entered the field? 2. What was the crowd reaction when they were announced? 3. Did they throw down a full blown Sunburst for finals? 4. What was the crowd reaction when they left the field? 5. What was the crowd reaction to their score? 6. What is the airspeed velocity of a swallow?
skajerk
Um, sorry, maybe you meant a different thread, but that is not related AT ALL to this one.- Thanks :) Actually it is. 1986- Troopers made finals. Phantom scored below 90 and BD won. I think that's what they were getting at.
