Hey...I'm with all of you on the Cadets - BD switch for 80's and 90's. But I just wrote what was printed.

Based on championships and show design. Cavies are a cut above everyone.

However, if you want to put it out there based on the overall improvement and impact on the activity, then CROWN hands down.

What impact has Crown made on the activity? Seriously.

My vote was for the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers by the same distance a Secretariat at the Belmont Stakes. The Cavies were able to accomplish a feat only dome once in the DCI era...a 3-peat (and should have won in '03...but that is another argument), and 4 in 5 years, and 5 titles in 7 seasons. Not only that, the shifted the paradigm on how shows have been designed in this decade.

Is the vote from 2000-2009 or 2001-2010?

For 2000-2009, even though I am a huge BD fan, the Cavies deserve it in my book. I would look at the entire period. IF it is from 2001--2010, then it could be up for grabs depending on next year.

For the 2000's of course it has to be Cavaliers.

As to the 80's and 90's debate:

In the 80's BD's average placement was 2.3; Cadets was 3.7

In the 90's BD's average placement was 2.7; Cadets was 2.4

Cavs, probably, but much more so in the first half of the decade. I can't even think of a good memorable show they've had after 2003.
