JF154283 Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 1 Crown : keeps improving on the previous year2 Cadets: will stick with last year's formula and beat some more of that dirt into submission 3 Cavies: will move up because I can't believe they're moving down 4 BD: will use more props and get bitten by them 5 SCV: delicious but still a bit too low calorie 6 Bluestars: break into the top 6 7 BK: continue to become more accessible 8 Bluecoats: will make sure their show explanation is not more complex than the show itself 9 Colts: off season changes pay off 10 Phantom: will disappoint again 11 Boston: ate the worm in that apple 12 Crossmen: find their way back to Saturday night 13 Madison: on their way back but not there yet 14 Glassmen: back to boring 15 Troopers: shine has worn off but still respectable 16 Academy: not worse but others around them getting better faster 17 Spirit: atlanta not so hot for spirit 18 Surf: brass takes a stride forward 19 Pioneer: have seen last place and aren't going back 20-22 Mandarins,Cascades,Pacific Crest: 3 way tie 23 Teal: brutal welcome to world class someone put stars in the top 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Carolina Crown - untouchable brass, untouchable percussion, much improved colorguard/visual program, and a show that screams "we're mad" 2. Cadets - After hearing their show concept, I think they're really gonna be great this year. 3. Vanguard - They master finesse on the field and have a fantastic hornline and colorguard. Percussion and drill holds them back from winning. 4. Blue Devils - Clean as always, but the show doesn't have enough substance to compete with the top 3. 5. Bluecoats - Fresh, unique show design and great music ensemble. Visual sections not clean enough to compete with the rest. 6. Phantom Regiment - They "bounce back" but still don't have enough of a push to land back in the top 5. 7. Cavaliers - They'll always be good, but brand new staff and probability of few returning members means bad news for the Green Machine. 8. Madison Scouts - The old Star crew throws everyone for a loop and is #### clean come finals. Looking forward to seeing this corps. 9. Blue Stars - Good, but not quite on par with the rest. 10. Boston Crusaders - Show isn't unique enough to propel them in GE like last year's show did. 11. Glassmen - Glass place. 12. Colts - Back in finals with strong sections all around. 13. Surf - Much improved and throws everyone off guard. 14. Troopers- Staff losses hurt them too much, and they drop a few places. 15.
