They'd have 4 championships in 10 years (unless they win in 2010, but not likely), which is more than any other corps this decade. However, I'd vote for Carolina Crown as a close second. I'm not the biggest Crown honk, but being the first corps to break into the top 2 that hasn't won a championship since (insert year here) is a huge deal! If we're talking 2001-2010, and BD happened to win in 2010, it would be a different discussion than if we're talking 2000-2009. For 2000-2009, Cavies would have it hands down. But congratulations anyway and it's fitting they come from Chicago. We're on a roll here at the center of the universe. Back in my high school you could see up to 5 different corps jackets while walking around the halls in a single day. Lots of Cavalier jackets as well as DP Vanguard, Ambassadors, Imperials, RoyalAirs, some Blue Stars, Kilties, Phantom. So lots of rivalry. (Usually) good natured--didn't really want to hit some corps member only to find out they're a solo horn player. Bad form. Congrats to the Bucs too! Nice title.
