Bob984
What is the biggest single season improvement in DCI history? From one season to the next....I am not including from inactive years or 1st seasons....... From what I can see, it looks as though the Kilts may have the record, at least into finals.......... 1976..........28th place 1977..........11th place finalist thus, they went up 17 spots and also into finals...... Michael Boo
More impressive is 27th from 1974 to 75. 20th to 4th. Bingo. I remember seeing them from the back side in Milwaukee in early June and having been new to the activity, wondering, "What?" because I hadn't heard about them all winter due to their placement the season before. john2780
I would have to say 27th Lancers in 1974. That's because I joined
up4479
That's because I joined IMO there's a lot of truth in that but let's not forget our other friends. On the other hand I joined in '76 and the corps dropped a place. HMMMMM. Edited February 16, 2010 by up4479
audiodb
Guardsmen went from 31st (1975) to 12th (1976), a 19-spot leap. Marauders would have equalled that achievement from 1984 to 1985 (43rd to 24th), if not for the disqualification of Eclipses in '84.
