perc2100
I'm pretty convinced that a serious DCI fan doesn't waste time on here and is either a) too busy practicing for the upcoming DCI season, b) too busy designing/preparing to teach the upcoming DCI season, or c) too busy volunteering or preparing to volunteer for the upcoming DCI season. Let's be honest: if we don't fall into the above category (I know a few of you that post here honestly do fall into those categories above), the rest of us are just arm-chair posers, and various degrees of the average fan. I.e. no where near serious. Seriously, that's my honest opinion in regards to what I know a "serious DCI fan" is.

yabetterbelieveit
When they talk about '89, they bring up the "frack" before they bring up Phantom of the Opera. Or, in my case, Les Mis

EvilBass
When you recognize, and can Identify by year "I'm Wet!!!" and "I'm Still Wet!!" If you Identify drinks by color, not flavor. If you still use corps nicknames.... ie Fabric Regiment, Masculine Doubts, Tragic of Poorlando etc etc etc If you can identify what section someone is in by tanline. If you can identify judges from the nosebleed seats. If you miss Mile High Stadium. If you remember 4 california corps in the top 12 at the same time.
