AlexL
2. Scouts and MEG3. Blue Stars In no particular order... I definitely hope you're right. Definitely pulling for BS and Madison this summer (obviously one over the other, but want great things for both).
bass5
4. Will the 8th place corps be awarded the DCI trophy? The G7 corps will have their own trophy, of course. Of course the G7 trophy will be bigger and more expensive.
Captncontra
Of course the G7 trophy will be bigger and more expensive. Yeah, it'll be a stack of unpurchased Finals tickets. Pretty expensive!
BRASSO
1) Cavaliers see support within DCI for G-7 not there, and withdraw from G-7 2) at least one current non G-7 Corps finishes 6th or higher this season 3) Madison Scouts finish 10th or higher 4) G-7 proposal is withdrawn before put to a vote. 5) 4-5 Corps leave DCI to form their own afiliation with a marching band organization 6) The Cavaliers stay with DCI. 7) Phantom Regiment stay with DCI 8) This will be the last year of George Hopkins afiliation in any capacity with DCI.... and most likely The Cadets membership in DCI as well. Dave_G
once the shows begin, G7 concerns will go away like a bad dream...this could be the most exciting year in DCI in recent memory come on June 18! Somehow I doubt the bolded part. Amps were a controversial topic all season after that rule was passed and controversial well into the next few seasons. This rule won't be as "in your face" as that as it wasn't passed, but it's certainly controversial enough that it's going to generate significant discussion and unfortunately likely some backlash during the season much as amplification did. as for a story line I see: Multiple corps in the 11-17 range flip flop throughout the season in terms of placement leaving which two will make finals relatively in doubt until finals week. I could easily see a corps placing top 12 in Atlanta only to find itself down at 15th in Indy.

Plan9
1- Bluecoats tie Phantom for 6th & Blue Stars tie BAC for 7th forcing G7 to become G9. 2- Non G7's feeling that they have been pi##ed-on by the G7, form a new break away group called the Gee Whiz 3- During the first big show of the year involving three G7 and four Non G7 corps, 25 "hot-dog run G7 hater fans" are caught on the "live camera" peeking through the entrance ramps at the G7 corps during their performances (while they are supposed to be boycotting in the snack area). 4- Finally....Jim Joyce (bad call baseball umpire) after being asked to serve as a judge during DCI finals, penalizes BD 3 points for being out of uniform and bad drill, when in reality he was actually looking at himself in one of their mirrors. Dan Atcheson refuses to reverse the call!

Plan9
5) due to the G-7 scheme..... INT picks up new fans, who return to their seats quickly after intermission as not to miss a minute of the always entertaining G7 corps (whewww...that was close..come on Brasso, I saved your seat! ).
