skewerz
I don't see how this show in any way can compare to the look or feel of "1930". which will make a lot of people thankful...anything that alleviates the boredom of the last couple years might be an improvement... MikeN
http://bluedevils.org/mediabox/ It's $3.99. Mike
Perry S
This show is absolutely amazing. I've always been thankful that the Blue Devils come up with concepts that have depth, as abstract as they may be. I really enjoy them. I kid I kid. I've never had a hot dog corps. Can't bring myself to leave lol. What can I say I don't like a lot of the elements but What I do like overrides the bad. So long live MBI oh uh DCI
cascade13
I don't know about this show...It doesn't seem like a show that will win. Then again, BD is extremely talented and the show design doesn't define how good a corps is, but this year just doesn't seem like BD's year. chaos001
Show Script: - corps plays chromatic scale ending in dissonance - guard feature - random notes - percussion feature - random dancing - chord played at mf > p - repeat a few times - show ends with long, loud chord
Lance
Show Script:- corps plays chromatic scale ending in dissonance - guard feature - random notes - percussion feature - random dancing - chord played at mf > p - repeat a few times - show ends with long, loud chord as opposed to Phantom's: - corps plays loud donut chords, saving the loudest crassest donut chord for last - guard attempts to do something with some random running around by the corps - mello runs standing still, watered down - percussion feature - random attempts at dancing - chord played at ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff>ffff - repeat a few times - show ends with a long loud chord You'll have to forgive me for not trolling the Phantom Regiment thread with this. bluublood
Honestly, this scares me. It scares me alot. If this is what drum corps is turning into, I have better things to do with my time. My initial thought is that If I wanted a dissertation I'd go back to college. I'm tired of putting $25 down on a ticket to a show only to walk away shaking my head. What ever happen to entertaining the audience? Can you please wait to crucify them till AFTER you've seen the show?
