They do the dangest things with cheese.Speaking of which deep fried cheese curds....yum. yes FDL County Fair starts in about a week and a half.. I'm only a few blocks away so my whole house will smell like deep fried fried things for a week.. curds, funnel cakes, twinkies, corndogs, pickles, snickers.. ugh.. the thought of it makes me a little nauseous.. it's fine ONCE.. but not for a week.. but there's a culvers about three minutes from me... For six months I had to endure the odor of a Friday Night fish fry, soaking into my apartment from the neighbor below. The smell of oil and fish got into everything in MY apartment. We moved to a better place away from that smell as soon as possible! Sorry to say that I'm not a fan of the fish fry.... AMEN.. just not a fan of the "fry" in general. One explanation, Crown didn't go on last, so the judges cannot give them the full benefit of the doubt with one corps remaining in case Coats came out scorching....they have to manage the numbers for a few more weeks yet.
