There are several places where they do extended development of long musical and visual phrases, and I find those extremely powerful. Overall, though, the show isn't captivating me the way that Ballet did last year. Perhaps they just don't have the performance level to completely sell it yet? BRASSO Posted July 31, 2010 Share Posted July 31, 2010 Wow, I'm hearing lots of attack and tonguing problems in SCV tonight. good drum line, good brass line, good color guard.... very basic and relatively easy to execute visual show, imo. polite and respectful hand by the audience.
