thirdcoast
1983 opener..Colas Breugnon.. search for a Symphonic video of the overture. This would be great! But you know, anything they have planned is going to be good. And they do have a plan.
Fran Haring
Music from "Memphis" would make a great show.
Fran Haring
Pacific Crest played selections from City of Angels a couple of years ago. DCA's Empire Statesmen did "City of Angels" in 2004... and won the DCA title with it. Their version included one of the best special effects I have ever seen on a drum corps field. Been there done that. Time for something new, new brand..new direction with a splash of the Scouts power.
Zeke
1983 opener..Colas Breugnon.. search for a Symphonic video of the overture. Kabalevsky's Colas Breugnon is and awesome piece. Was introduced to it about hmm 5 or 6 years ago while watching a Boston Pops tribute to John Williams Concert on PBS.

warsawstory
I don't think an ode to spaghetti westerns would necessarily be cheesy.Seeing an adult trying to play a kid named Jeffery and running around making silly faces...now that's cheesy. And who was the composer of Sergio Leone's spaghetti western scores? Ennio Morricone. It would be great if more of his music were played other than "The Mission" or "The Untouchables". Cop
Not sure what Jim Prime would do, but I'm pretty sure Jim MASON already knows what he wants. The music on the table is great, and only played once in the history of the corps...
