Jeff Ream
Youre simply not getting it. By covering the most land you cover the most people. wrong. because many large areas have few people
AlexL
wrong. because many large areas have few people Theres obviously a population density where a show becomes unfeasible.
AlexL
Like covering land is the same as covering people... It IS. If you cover all areas of the country that have enough people to make a show feasible, and then have venues in the higher density areas that accomodate for the increased demand, you cover all areas of the country where it is feasible to have a show. Also, you dont get anywhere in a discussion by going after the logic\intelligence of those you're discussing with. With comments like 'are you thinking?' i should just get out as youre clearly stuck in your view and its appearing that its pointless to have this discussion with you. AlexL
Depends on the population....you'd cover a crapload more people going through SoCal than through all of Alaska....You have to cover ground where people actually ARE. Obviously. Theres a minimum population density where it becomes feasible to have a show in an area. Another one of the reasons getting shows out to california is a logistical nightmare, as there are giant gaps in between these areas in between the plains states and the west coast. AlexL
well....looking at the tour, especially OC, you actually prove everyone else right. look at where some of thows are...where there aren't many people, especially the OC tour.so, yes, we;re right here. And those OC shows draw a lot less people in, often at levels that wouldnt be feasible for a WC show. Youve not 'proven' anything. Are there not large gaps between shows outside the California area?? And I'll remind you that EVERY California/Washington/Oregon corps that goes to nats has dealt with this problem every time they go out to Denver and beyond...BD/SCV/Freelancers/VK (old and new)/Impulse/BDB/SCVC/Fever/Kingsmen/Esperanza/etc.... The midwest and eastern corps coming out has gotten a lot better (putting 07 aside), but it's still a LONG wayt away from California corps going back was FAR more frequently.
