1. Madison- The only time on finals night that the crowd came to its feet during an OPENER.

2. Phantom- I haven't stopped listening to this show since the end of the season. Wonderful music book.

Jeers

1. Blue Devils- I know. Beating a dead horse and what not, but with a corps that rock solid in almost every caption, a more melodic and coherent brass book would have made everyone else forget about their competition.

2. The Cadets- This jeer only applies to the Murfreesboro/Atlanta weekend when they added the whole "Cadets dismissed!" corny section. I liked this show, but that section ruined it for me for two days. Hop and the staff get an honorable mention cheer for removing that.

The Circle Mall was full of "Bieberettes" on Semis day. I assume he had a gig in Indy that night.

2. Madisons Guard playing cymbals during Rhapsody in Blue... loved it!

Not really Jeers but things I didn't like-

1. The fans around me who got up and left after Cavies/before BD!

2. That poor Crown kid, made me want to throw up.

I think he was staying at the same hotel we were staying at (Conrad) during championship week. Bunch of teeny-boppers hanging around outside the hotel after championships got out. I think he had a concert at Conseco on Thursday.

2). To the Cavaliers for graciously and professionally accepting 2nd place, when I think deep down they knew they should have won.

1). To the corps who felt it necessary to double their conta (tuba) lines on a synthesizer n the pit(BOOO!!!!)

2). To the DCI judges who are reluctant to "call a spade a spade" and should have done so during finals week!

To the finals contest director for not holding Bloo in the tunnel until the Crown situation was safely under control

To DCI for putting great I&E champions in a compromising position the night of semis

1. Blue Devils.....I'm not gonna deny that there's major talent there. But.....something different would be nice.

2. The people booing for BD. I don't like them, but booing isn't really acceptable in my opinion. Everybody in that corps worked more than hard enough to be respected.
