DrumManTx
About a week ago I would have disagreed with you on 2010. But I got myself to watch it once, then again, and you REALLY start to see some cool stuff in it. I can say that's one HELL of a show. CloudHype
1990 Madison - I actually like it but I feel the visual was blah. 1991 Freelancers and it all because of Bells and that Bari lick at the end. 1993 Glassmen - That new age music and for the life of me, I can't figure out why I like the show. First show I saw live (full show) might be the reason. 1993 Magic - Technically, the first show I saw live but only the closer. DCI South prelims and 100 + degree heat. I also like the much improved 1994 Version. 1993 Boston - I've never seen the show but I dig the music. Musically, I had them in finals. 1994 Blue Knights - Tritico, Might not be dislike but not a well talked about show. 1994 Glassmen - Moody Blues. 1995 Southwind - Again, I don't know why but I dug the southern gospel. They where more like Spirit then Spirit was that season. 1996 Les Etoiles - Little and loud... The Iron Will show if I remember correctly 1997 Blue Knights - Ben Hur, Barber and fantastic silks 1997 Kiwanis Kavaliers - Evita: While I was on tour, I thought that they might slip into finals 1997 Colts - Blood, Sweet and Tears. This show was not disliked but forgotten. Best member tour shirt ever. 1997 Magic - The New Orleans type show, the ballad was great and that hornline was underscored. 2001 Glassmen - I love Imago 2003 Blue Knights - Primary Colors. The Bulgarian music and the opener was killer. 2008 Blue Devils - Loved it 2010 Blue Devils - REALLY LOVED IT.
chris ncsu
Cadets 99 (what a great brass book, and great drill, and great guard...) Cadets 04 (the first half or 2/3 of that show is really great, and great guard) Cadets 06 (I like the tables/jumping, I like the ballad) Phantom 85 (Symphonie Fantastique rox) Phantom 97 (holy brass) Phantom 99 (some great classical music) Phantom 01 (what an ending!) Phantom 04 (love the brass book and the energy) SCV 94 (Red Poppy, a REALLY great mix of music) SCV 02 (I really like the brass book, and the drumming) BD 02 (a lot of fun) BD 05 (ok I wish the narrator weren't part of it, but he does sell it, and I really like the brass book) Glassmen 97-99, the Gold years Crown 06 (I loved it since I heard it early that season, and was amazed by them at finals) BK 06 (I was mad they beat Crown, but I now really like this show. So brooding, and a great brassline) Scouts 06 (Primal Forces)

shostahoosier
These are shows that I think people overlook or dont give love to. There are plenty of other shows I like, but they usually get plenty of recognition. Cadets of Bergen County 1991 (ABCs of Modern American Music) Santa Clara Vanguard 1991 (Miss Saigon) Star of Indiana 1992 (American Variations) - greatest.hornline.EVER! Magic 1995 (Danse Animale) Carolina Crown 1995 (Stormworks) Crossmen 1995 Bluecoats 1995 (Homefront: 1945) Santa Clara Vanguard 1995 (Not the Nutcracker) Phantom Regiment 1995 (Adventures Under a Darkened Sky) Velvet Knights 1996 (Magical Mystery Tour in Space) (Great show....their last in World Class too...for now ) Colts 1996 (Magnificat) (THIS SHOW SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 8TH!) Cadets of Bergen County 1996 (The American West) Blue Devils 1996 (Club Blue: A Gangster Chronicle) (I think this show is often overshadowed by the "tie", but it's one of my top 3) Nite Express 1996 (A Knight's Tail) (Insane hornline!) Madison Scouts 1997 (Pirates of Lake Mendota) Blue Knights 1998 (Masters of the Symphony) Phantom Regimen 2000 (The Masters of Mystique) Santa Clara Vanguard 2001 (New Era Metropolis) Phantom Regiment 2001 (Virtuoso) Crossmen 2002 (The Signature Series) I actually cant go on...there are just too many to mention Edited September 6, 2010 by shostahoosier
