rpbobcat
As someone who designs synthetic turf fields,I can tell you that one potential problem with using red is that it is a very "photo active" color and is prone to fading. I don't know how much sun this field gets, but I know we've had problems with red turf fading to pink.
AlanAndreasen
Pink field with green lines - now that would be preppy. Talking of pink, BITD of Hayden Fry being coach at U of Iowa he had the visitors locker room painted pink. pink showers, toilets, floor, walls, and lockers Edited December 3, 2010 by AlanAndreasen

bearz
I'm colorblind, so i didn't notice something was wrong until i kept reading the word "red"I thought this thread was gonna be about the obnoxious logo One instance where being colorblind is a definite advantage. There isn't enough bleach in the world to get that red glare out of my eyes.
madscout96
If Boise State's field is the Smurf Turf, is this the Tomato Turf?
Jeff Ream
as long as you wear black pants, and 90% of the activity does, you'd be ok
