Rocketman
The Gay Blades might also have a tough time of it. Depends on where they're from. Fire Island, San Francisco, West Hollywood, etc.

Rocketman
Can't believe no one has mentioned these: Devil Dogs (Cujo?) Simplex Minutemen (Minuetpersons perhaps?) 84th Bucktail Regiment (what happened to the first 83? I'd be concerned) Alamo Rangers (we all know how that turned out) Broadcasters (Fox news or CBS?) Buddhist Scouts (members need more exercise) Chinese Imperials (DNA tests to prove ethnicity?) First Baptist Cadets (What if we're second Baptists?) Hellgaters (guarding the gate to...) Jungle Kings (Jane might be P.O'd) Killmen (All girl corps?) Lithuanians (not from Europe, unless New Jersey moved) Madonna (think there's a copyright or trade mark issue here) Maria High (what are you saying about Maria?) Mirage (just can't see it) Satellites (out of this world) Witch City (that isn't misspelled)

Diceman
York, PA White Roses.....York is the "White Rose City" and Lancaster, PA is the "Red Rose City" which goes with the English War of the Roses fought between the families trying to get on the English throne way back when. Been told that it wasn't that easy to recruit in the 60s with that name. Especially since York is kind of in a depressed area and it can get nasty there. Real note is YWR started as a Senior corps, then went Junior, then back to Senior So did Les Metropolitains and Archie(?)...
JimF-LowBari
So did Les Metropolitains and Archie(?)... Yeah what the heck did go on with the Musketeer name in the 90s (when I was away). Or was there something else I missed. Any years on Les Mets.... missed them in DCA too.... (Missed 'em cuz I stayed home 92-02 or so). Fran Haring
York, PA White Roses.....York is the "White Rose City" I remember when Ritchee Price played with the White Roses, before he moved on to senior corps.
JimF-LowBari
I remember when Ritchee Price played with the White Roses, before he moved on to senior corps. And Ritchee remembers those days too. After Hanover played their bit at Plymouth last year we went outside the building cuz... well that's how you leave the stage. We were in a group talking and I heard a voice behind me say "Excuse me" because they wanted to get by. I moved and out of the corner of my eye I say it was Ritchee . He wanted to talk to one of the ex-York instructors who is with Lancers. Funny part was one of our sops was with Ritchee in the Matadors and they were talking too. oldschool1180
The Ambassa"Does" were the feeder corps for the Ambassa"Dears." Both were All-Girl corps and both were from Racine, WI. In the fall of 1972 they merged with the Citations Color Guard, also from Racine, and became the New Day All-Girl Drum and Bugle Corps and their feeder corps then became the New Dawn. The New Dawn no longer exists, however, the New Day still exists as a co-ed parade corps with a competing winter guard. If im not mistaken thier also was 1 called the thing
