Jeff Ream
I saw Steve "Hairbear"Masters put this post up in the OT Forums: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/106210-guess-who/page__view__findpost__p__2970370 more than just being a corps mate of his, Sandy thrilled DCA audiences far and wide during his years with the Rockets, Steel City, Westshore and the Brigs. Please send all of your positive energy and prayers his way as he fights the fight of his life.

hardcoremello
That's so sad to hear. Sandy and Hair Bear were really fun to watch back in the day. Talk about enjoying your hobby. I used to laugh so much because they were having such a great time!!
JohnZ
For those who may wish to send him a card or visit, the last info I had was: Sandy McNeal Room 234 South UPMC Shadyside Hospital 5230 Centre Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15232 to make it even easier, UPMC has an ecard link that you can use: UPMC Shadyside Patient and Visitors Link - ecards click on the link under additional resources and follow the easy instructions - takes no time at all. I'd say the more friends he heard from, the more the little SOB would fight just for the opportunity to thank all of us in person at DCA next year. what say? I used to laugh so much because they were having such a great time!! Thank you for the kind words, Holly. Sandy is in good spirits and we "Brothers" are fighting this togeather, 'cause that's how we roll! Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes. This comes directly from Sandy: "I want to play the Serenade in Brass show. That's my goal. 'Bear, arrange it". And THAT'S what I will do. Glad to hear that Sandy is doing alright considering the news. Tell him his fellow Irishman "Young Danny McGrogan" will see him at the Forum in Harrisburg! For any of those on this forum who don't know this..... the Best Showmanship Award at DCA Championships was literally created for Sandy, when he was with Steel City.
