In Memoriam: Sandy McNeal

Recommended Posts

For those who may wish to send him a card or visit, the last info I had was:

Sandy McNeal

Room 234 South

UPMC Shadyside Hospital

5230 Centre Avenue

Pittsburgh, PA 15232

to make it even easier, UPMC has an ecard link that you can use:

UPMC Shadyside Patient and Visitors Link - ecards

click on the link under additional resources and follow the easy instructions - takes no time at all.

I'd say the more friends he heard from, the more the little SOB would fight just for the opportunity to thank all of us in person at DCA next year. what say?

thanks John!!!

Adding the thanks and think every hospital should have something like this.

Hope he gets buried in Well Wishes....

Me too. For all of the excitement he and his "Brothers" gave the entire Drum Corps community he sure does deserve it.

Thank you for the kind words, Holly. Sandy is in good spirits and we "Brothers" are fighting this togeather, 'cause that's how we roll! Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes. This comes directly from Sandy: "I want to play the Serenade in Brass show. That's my goal. 'Bear, arrange it". And THAT'S what I will do.

Just sent one of those Ecards. You are all in my prayers! God Bless and Keep!

Very sorry to hear about this, Sandy is someone who loves to perform and he did it well. That E-Card is a great idea.

I just returned from Pittsburgh and a visit at the hospital, with Sandy. He wants to thank everyone for the cards and phone calls. He says he feels blessed and is overwhelmed by the "love" he is getting from all of you. It is a tough battle, but he is in good spirits. David Hurt and I would also like to thank each of you for your thoughts, well wishes and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers are on there way for Sandy. I first met him and you HairBear during the 1996 season while marching with the Kingston Grenadiers, it was a pleasure to have met you both and pray for a speedy recovery.
