losnickes
More often than not, it seems like fans generally disagree with who the judges name champion. Here, we can set the record straight. In the above poll, you can choose from all of the runners-up from the last 25 drum corps seasons. Which runner-up was the best? There is also a second question you may answer, which includes all the 2010 Finalists who didn't win. Which one was the best? Also, I encourage all to submit any other corps from various years who didn't win and are not on the above list. Edit: By the way, I'm closing the poll on Saturday, March 5th, 2011. By your vote, the best Drum Corps show NOT to win, is Star of Indiana's 1993 program, "The Music of Barber and Bartók." The best show not to win in 2010 is The Cavaliers' "Mad World." No surprise there. Edited March 5, 2011 by losnickes
Catan
Tough choice between 1987 SCV and 2007 Cadets. I went with SCV. I think if there ever was a year for a tie, 1987 was it.

hostrauser
Tough choice between 2009 Crown, 2004 Blue Devils, 1989 Phantom, and 1987 SCV. I went with 89 Phantom. For the longest time I thought 93 Star was robbed. But in the past five years or so I've started to come around the the Cadets side and now think the correct corps won. Pipifer
This was really tough. I'm in love with both 2006 Phantom Regiment and 1993 Star definitely should have won. Fantastic shows!
C4T
2004 BD because they have the highest non-winning score of all time. 2010 Cavaliers because they had the highest score that didn't win in 2010.
Cardman
1987 SCV by far. Some really, really great shows on this list though (93 Star, 2003 Cavies, 89 Phantom, 06 Phantom, 08 Blue Devils, 09 Crown were all wonderful.) Though I picked 87 SCV as the BEST corps that didn't win, I don't necessarily think they SHOULD have won. Of the ones I listed, the only corps that I felt should have won that didn't was 2003 Cavaliers "Spin Cycle". What a great show...if it weren't for those UGLY guard uniforms... FHdork
I voted for Star 93...followed closely by 2000 BD, 2003 Cavies, 88 and 87 SCV... For 2010 - Bluecoats...by a looooong way -
