skajerk
I love how everyone loves '05 Cadets NOW. Loved it then, love it now...Just awesome. By this time, I was into drum corps full-swing as a fan so I ate up everything. Sorry. Not everyone.
N.E. Brigand
2005 Cadets is DCI Download of the Week The Zone [dreamscapes in four parts with door] Includes a clip of the drum solo and download discounts on both the corps' video performance and the 2005 finalist corps mp3 bundle. Much of the music in “The Zone” was from the movies Kill Bill and [Lars von Trier and] Bjork’s Dancer in the Dark, mixed with original material created by staff arranger Jay Bocook. ... During the un-judged opening segment, we were introduced to the intrepid schoolgirl who was about to enter the door as corps members whistled “Twisted Nerve” from Kill Bill. Just a quick note: the "Twisted Nerve" music used in Kill Bill (2003-4) is actually the theme from a 1968 British film called Twisted Nerve -- hear it whistled over the opening credits . DrillmanSop06
Sorry. Not everyone. If this was the spring of 2006, many posts would've demanded Mr. Boo's immediate resignation. Let's put it that way.
Michael Boo
If this was the spring of 2006, many posts would've demanded Mr. Boo's immediate resignation. Let's put it that way. You think it would take that much to generate that sort of response? That's occurs perhaps twice a month.
chris ncsu
One of my favorites. Liquid and Dancer are classics. Machine maybe, too.
contrajedi8
Cadets 2005 was maybe the best championship show of the past decade. I saw them high box in Louisville in June. Knew right then that they would win.
oldskl3rings
I tries to watch the vid twice. It's all pixelated and not viewable.
Michael Boo
I tries to watch the vid twice. It's all pixelated and not viewable. Hmmm, I'm not having that problem. Might it be your connection?
oldskl3rings
Hmmm, I'm not having that problem. Might it be your connection? Tried it again and it worked. The vocals went from stupid to unnecessary. The drum line was very tight and I’d rather watch them use their sticks instead of their mouths!
