Granny Smith
So...I decided to not subscribe to fan network this year for the first time and I'm thinking about purchasing just tonight's webcast of the Minnesota show. My question for you is how is the quality this year of the webcasts? Have they increased the resolution and/or sound quality? Thank you in advance! Lance
about the same. i really wish they had the video quality on par with a lot of other pay-to-watch online activities....i just keep waiting. they know that a lot of us with a little bit of disposable income won't demonstrate the same self-control you did, so they can go the cheap way with the production. superOOk
Webcasts have been pretty bad up until the last one. DATR, after the lightning strike and resuming the show, was awesome. Sound was perfect, quality was the best I have ever seen/heard on the fan network. So who knows how tomorrow will be.
bawker
About on par with previous seasons. It's not perfect, but, hey . . .it still doesn't look that bad through HDMI on my TV.
Guardguy89
The quality is about the same as last year. But - I still think it rocks as at least I get to see the shows during the season. Later, Mike
SCTuba
I agree with Bawker, it seems pretty similar to the past few seasons. While not perfect, it's also better than nothing.

They offered a big price hike, a smaller schedule, and no major improvements in video\sound quality. And the 'its better than nothing' thing doesnt work anymore. Its 2011. I can record a show and have it uploaded to youtube in a very quick amount of time, in 720p. If we had 'nothing' itd be a joke (though the FN is approaching that as there is a pretty poor level of support of the platform from the corps themselves). DrinkinOuttaCups
I never had any issues with the videos last year (I mean, there were some issues, but I just didn't care). The only reason I'm not a subscriber right now is because I need to save money.

Just to clarify, Granny, you mean tomorrow night's Minny show, right? Wouldn't want you to give up precious sleep time (or a 4:30 dinner at the buffet) waiting for a show that's not for another 24 hours!
