oldbandguy
$60 MILLION for a high school football stadium is totally DISGUSTING...even if used for drum corps and marching band. Of course we have folks here in Ohio that would vote tax dollars for something like that in a moment, while at the same time laying off 20% of their teachers. It's a screwed up world sometimes. Hook'emCavies
Isn't that where they held DCI Houston for the past three seasons? That stadium looks awfully familiar. Yes they have been using this stadium for some time actually. I wasn't sure if anyone has seen it on here or not.
BarryMorgan
Excellent. A great audience for all of the corps!

I have to agree, but in Texas (and everywhere else too) football is HUGE here... heck I love football too! Its what I follow when the DCI season is done. So sadly, sports will somehow always come first... I hate to admit it too...

Football is the state religion in TX. No surprise they built a new temple.

All I have to say is that is a beautiful stadium. I'm from North Carolina and we have NOTHING like that here for High School. I was so amazed at the quality of the High School stadiums when I made my two summer trips through there in 2008 and 2009. Especially that one. I know it's really overkill for a High School ... but from an aesthetic viewpoint ... with the stadium being viewed as art ... it's really rather beautiful.
