I'm curious, how many total are sucking on the system tonight?

Not at liberty to say, but I can say that tonight has already "set an attendance record". The only thing that we streamed more of was last year's semis, and by a large margin the free scores display last year. That was free, so of course it was all time #1. But for a non-championship event, this one is top-dog tonight.

Question: Was Les Miz set in the same time frame as the 1812?

Is that the connection?

The connection is not entirely clear. The 1812 Overture is about Napoleon's French army invading Russia and being repulsed. Les Miserables begins in 1815, the year of Napoleon's final defeat at Waterloo, and culminates 17 years later as a Paris insurrection in 1832 is crushed by French soldiers.
