KeithHall
You have been asked to be the new corps director of a DCA corps (pick any corps you want BUT only ONE corps), and you need to make changes. What would those changes be? This is all in FUN but may be helpful too.

elphaba01
"Give Us Another Chance"!!!!!! Stratford Connecticut's Connecticut Yankees!!!!! I'd hire Joe Genero, Ray Ludee, "Condon & Woods", and make the corps DCA and Legion National Champions!!!!! Elphaba WWW
camel lips
Kilties. New Uniforms. New Visual Program. dont like it? too bad! Im the director! All jokes aside I think Scott is doing a good job at getting the corps on track and still keeping the Kilties tradition alive. Every year under his direction the corps has gotten better regardless of placements at finals. Ive seen several DCA corps go in and clean house....drive off a lot of the old school people that have held the organization together for years and then suddenly find themselves in bad shape. Slow and steady progress is the answer IMHO.
Fran Haring
I would pick the Buccaneers. As the new director, I would gather everyone in the corps together and tell them: "Nothing's broken. Nothing to fix. Keep doing what you've been doing, because it obviously has been working." Then I would resign as director and hand the reigns back to Jim Gruber and the rest of the crew there.
NYSkyliner
Ive seen several DCA corps go in and clean house....drive off a lot of the old school people that have held the organization together for years and then suddenly find themselves in bad shape. Slow and steady progress is the answer IMHO. It happens with Alumni Corps as well. Steel City for example. their "new" director a couple of years ago wanted the Corps to be competitive, drove most of the old phartes away and the Corps almost folded. Just recently with the rejuvenation from some of the "old tymers" coming back they are once again looking and sounding good.
JoeDz
Hawthorne Caballeros.... I'd change them from Spanish uniforms to Polish Polka suits. Ironically, they can play Lady of Spain as long as the melos can duplicate the sound of a bellows-shake accordion. Joe Dz in NJ
