"Pittsburgh itself can be somewhat difficult to navigate around"

From your Gateway review. I found it even more true for Baldwin!

The first post of the new year, Hornell's small high school, a popular stop for DCA corps.

Back after quite a lengthy delay with two venues in western MD, including one that will bring back some fond memories from many senior corps members.

I miss that show in Cumberland to this day.

The DCA show there ran from 1989 through 2000... and the same show crew also ran a DCI show there in 1999.

I had the honor of being the emcee for all those events.

They were well-run shows... always a big and enthusiastic crowd.... and the show committee, headed by Bob Andrews. really rolled out the red carpet for the corps.

Hey all - just found out that the Massillon Show on August 4th offers pick-your-seats (I just purchased my seats). This show is always well attended and is a great place to see a drum corps show. I'd suggest that if you're planning on going, get your tickets early. The line-up is fantastic this year.

While I'm honking for the Massillion show, don't forget to check out the other 2 shows the Bluecoats have this year - Akron and Pittsburgh. Great venues and super line-ups too!

Voting for the drum corps bracket tournament is down to the last few minutes. In the meantime, here's a very special stadium post- Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis MD, host of last season's DCA championships:

I'm getting geared up for the 2014 season! In a few weeks I'll have my 2014 season preview of new venues up, but in the meantime, here's my latest offering: Liberty HS in Bealeton VA and a look into the past with Fauquier HS in Warrenton VA:

I LOVE Salem! I was absolutely bummed when we didn't go to that show last year... :unhappy:
