I'd like to see Blue Knights go back to dark music - I know their recent selections are making a lot of people happy, but I've always preferred their darker side. 2006 is one of my favourite years from them.

I hear you, everybody's different in their tastes. As for BK 2006 show, when they were on the field that year I preferred to read the show sponsor's program book list of adverstisers to see if they had any coupons or discounts. But it would be pretty boring if everybody liked what everybody else liked, and I do know people who liked BK's show in their Dark Ages, and thats cool too.

The Cadets = Jeremiah Symphony

The Blue Devils = A selection of hits from the late '70s - the '80s

The Cavaliers = Canzona along with some other tunes or a part II to thier '06 android show

Phantom Regiment = Symphonie Fantastique (I actually enjoyed thier '85 show!)

Boston Crusaders = Thier 1990 show (my favorite Crusaders show of all time)

Spirit of Atlanta = Brothers of Bop and Blues In the Night

Bluecoats = give me some high octane Autumn Leaves

Crossmen = Summertime, Wind Machine, and Caravan

Santa Clara Vanguard = Thier 1985 show (Festive Overture, SCV style, is drum corps happiness!)

Madison Scouts = Waltz of the Mushroom Hunters, Strawberry Soup

Glassmen = something similar to '98, '99, and '01

1990 Boston, back when they were BAC (and still marching those d**n heavy ol' Luds)!

I would love for Boston to go back to being feisty, aggressive, and powerful as they were back then.

I was intimately involved with recruiting, housing, and teaching the 1990 Boston Crusaders. It was our 50th Anniversary year, and was comprised of some incredible members whom I consider to be close friends to this day. Having said that, are you really suggesting that the BAC corps of the last several years are no longer "aggressive and powerful"?? I do not understand that comment. As much as I love the people involved with that era of BAC's past, the recent Boston corps have taken "powerful" to a whole new level.

Yes, I'm saying that I prefer the Boston Crusaders of the past over what they are doing currently. It's awesome they are in the top 12; but I just liked what they were doing back then a lot more. I'll take Boston's '88 version of Les Miserables over what they did this past summer, most definitely.

However, thier 2006 show-"Cathedrals Of The Mind"- was awesome. And for this, I stand partially corrected.

I'll admit to not seeing Boston way back in the 90s but I really like what they've been doing the last few years.
