jjeffeory
I hope they do it. There's a ton ton ton of high-end music that can be worked into an Xmas show. And if the Cavaliers can make you believe in winter in the middle of August in Dallas, then the Cadets should have no problem with that either. Mike ...and then there's Christmas in July performed by the Bridgemen in 1985.

BD9
It would be amazing if they did Emmanuel Variants...
esch
Could this be a red herring? On December 25, 1941, Admiral Chester Nimitz arrived in the Pacific to assume command of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Where did he arrive that day? PEARL HARBOR. Coincidence? hehehehehe NICE, MICHAEL! ShortAndFast
I thought Pearl Harbor was a stronger concept for them. 12.25 kind of sounds like an opportunity to go overboard with props, gimmicks and cheese. I'll wait to hear more about the repertoire.
John Murray
Anybody else see the possibility of Cadets '12 going the way of Regiment 09? A championship year followed by a "flop?"

garfield
From what i have read.. It's not a show about Christmas as a broad topic, but more so of a plot during/about Christmas. I really think it will be fantastic. Christmas Eve during the Battle of the Bulge, the Americans, dug in and trying to prevent the Nazis from advancing through the Ardennes, heard the Germans singing Christmas carols from across the open field. Then Santa flew in and instructed his reindeer to poop down the barrels of the German tanks. The next morning, as the Nazis attacked, the poop had hardened and, when the Nazis fired, they blew themselves up. And the Allies won the war. Hey, Angels and Demons Risking Absurdity... It could happen! Edited November 26, 2011 by garfield

boxingfred
Not thrilled at first thought, but know that they have the ability to make anything interesting and DEFINITELY a topic for discussion for the next eight months. Be nice to hear them do Leroy Anderson's Holiday medley or their take on Russian Christmas, though. Could be just a great gag rumor, though.... I'm with esch , Not thrilled at first thought. Plus I hate Christmas and Christmas music. But, The Cadets are my favorite team and The Cadets sure know how to put together great, interesting shows... Anyway, I hope they play some Vince Guaraldi. That seems to be the only Christmas music I like.( and Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas") I was hoping for Angels part 2 Demons Revenge!
