TimbreDeBrass
So this thread is dedicated to all those "Why didn't this happen...." events that occur within drum corps and left you as a fan, puzzled beyond belief. I was watching DCI Finals from 2010 earlier and going through the top 12 I wondered to myself, 1. Why didn't the Blue Stars place higher? 2. Why didn't Bluecoats place higher? Both very good questions.

Because other corps scored higher than them?

Competitive inertia for Bluecoats. Blue Stars had a bit of musical and visual dirt, and their program didn't have the same level of writing as the people above them? GeneralTsoChicken
Because they weren't good enough to place higher. There is no massive DCI conspiracy. Corps place within one or two spots of where they should, year in and year out. If those corps had had better shows and they had been executed better, they would have placed higher.

Jeff Ream
Creep was 2011, Metropolis was 2010 my bad. Why didn't they win in 2010? Well...guard, and also Cavies and BD were better
Jeff Ream
Why didn't Star win in 1993? Cadets, minus the snare feature, peaked at the right time
