corpsband
I hate to say it, but yes, Cadets were consistently louder than Crown.. And yes, my friend was laughing out of enjoyment. Cavies- Not as clean as earlier in rehearsal. Early entrances, late releases, mellophones blatantly out of step. Still some work to do to catch up with the top 2 here but they're on the right track. Ending, at least, was VERY strong. Green +'d you back up. Can't believe anyone would red neg this :-(
geluf
So that religious voiceover that Cadets use right before the closer about wrapping the baby in swaddling clothes... Is that from Charlie Brown? Yes. It's Linus' reading of the Christmas Story from "A Charlie Brown Christmas"
charlie1223
Yeah I think they only changed in 2008, 2007, 2000 only to name a few. Lol! Well... maybe they change more than I'm remembering...

Is that from Charlie Brown? If it's the same one as in the Cinecast, yes. Charlie Brown's Christmas.
DCImonkey
Yes. It's Linus' reading of the Christmas Story from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" I KNEW IT!!! Now the question is.... Is Peanuts really the best they could've done here?
fifer
I KNEW IT!!! Now the question is.... Is Peanuts really the best they could've done here? Makes total sense to me - Linus represents the innocence of youth and its wonder over the magnificence of the season. Exactly what I think they are trying to get across there.

Exactly what I think they are trying to get across there. Well my wife just said to me.... "It's a part of everyone's youth! It makes sense that they would use Charlie Brown's Christmas." So much for what I know. I was thinking of how B.A it would be to have James Earl Jones read that line ;-P
