Kamarag
When I saw Bluecoats on the early season feeds and live in Allentown last week, they struck me as having a technical masterpiece of a show that was somehow sterile and devoid of any passion. Let's see if that's changed.
Njfritz
Far and away my favorite Cavies show since Bond in 2004. Liked it much more than the last couple of years. Might tighter programming, especially thematically. Nothing felt forced (like that upside down quad thing a couple years go). XY is my favorite cavies show of the past decade... I wouldn't say something that hasn't been done before in dci is "forced" but perhaps thats just me... I'm not too big of a fan of cavies show this year...I just have no feelings one way or another about it. I'm very neutral (that and I'm not too fond of dubstep)

drummer5485
Hate that ending. Play your horns and leave dancing for guard... Could say the same thing about Blue Devils... Also same thing with this "'Don't particularly like the collective dance thing to end the Cavies show. Its a little too much WGI and too little DCI for my taste... but I can see quite a few in the crowd there in Indy liked it." Forevergreen
Love the Cavaliers show. The guard......what's up ? Come on fellas.....drop-spins are basic.
Kamarag
Ah, good point about the dancing actually. I want DCI corps to be like DCI corps, but look at the leader this year. Very WGI... So it's rough. Well, one thing is for sure, Cavaliers and Scouts dance and dance WELL. The training is evident. Like it or hate it, it's achieved. Can't say that for many of the corps above them, save Devils.
jjeffeory
That ending didn't feel forced to you? It fits the show nicely. No it didn't feel forced and enhanced the show. The show is what it is... I can see where you're coming from though.
RickCogley
Made for a snoozer at the Meadowlands when they had no electronics at all. Oh no, that happened, really?! That would just ruin that show! I think their sections each execute really well, and the visual is great. But the electronics are like slathering ketchup all over a perfectly grilled cut of meat. Both drown out the beauty that is apparent. *shudder*

A lot of work went into it, and it shows.
