oldbandguy
Might be time to remove the "interim" tag from Jon Waters title. Come on drum corps fans. That's a LOT of drill to learn in 2 weeks. Let's give it up for the OSU band.

N.E. Brigand
If you search for "marching band video game show" on youtube, you'll find a few other bands have tackled the same theme over the years (dating back to at least 2006). I haven't watched them, so I can't say if this OSU show is better than the rest. (What do you know. I see one of the videogame shows is the 2011 competition show for Elder H.S., a school in Cincinnati. My roommate freshman year (21 years ago) had played quads in their band.) Peel Paint
OMG! Two weeks among classes to learn that drill that well... that's amazing. The galloping, pivoting horse at the 6 minute mark... wow! I loved the ending, and I loved the crowd reaction throughout. Well done.
jjeffeory
Here's the Cal version of this theme from 2007 I can totally understand the praise OSU's getting for their show based on the same theme! Two weeks to put it together, it's longer, it's clean ( relatively), and it sounds pretty good. Good job! and the OSU show Edited October 8, 2012 by jjeffeory
Michael Boo
I now feel old. I had no idea what most of the forms represented.
chaos001
Cal does this type of show all the time. It's still good though.
