pistolpete
Crown lost percussion by a full point and still won. If they can keep that spread to .6 they will be celebrating in Fort Mill on Saturday night.
Tez
Add all 3. Divide by 2. Add all 3 what? I'm still extremely confused.
pbeau
Folks - regarding the lousy audio: I don't know if it's been mentioned as I have not read this entire thread, but there was no "audio set-up" for the show. No microphones were set up. The audio feed cam from the Side 2 sideline camera the was shooting the pit primarily. Often he would park right in front of the pit speakers on that side. That's why the pit overpowered everything. That's also why the field brass and battery sounded so muffled. In most cases cameras like that have a shotgun mic (mono) because they are used primarily for interviews, etc. The microphone recording level on the camera was way too high for drum corps, hence the terrible distortion. The company hired to do this webcast obviously had NO IDEA how to shoot a drum corps show. I pity the people who paid expressly for this show. Shawn I have a saying at work, I don't want to work for a department that sucks at what they do. Edited August 6, 2013 by pbeau
hughesmr
Didn't he give the TOC scoring system incorrect by saying it was the cumulative score? I thought the TOC scoring was 50% weighted towards tonights show? Addition was involved, hence cumulative.
wilme861
Crown touched the cup. They're doomed. People that don't follow hockey have no idea what you're talking about lol
Cappybara
ALSO I'm very surprised no one has pointed out that the Bluecoats overtook Phantom Regiment. Although I like Phantom's music better (just personal choice), a BIG and well-deserved congrats to the Bluecoats!
Tez
It was the average of the first 6 shows together added with the scores from tonight. The Buffalo show had a lot more weight than the previous show's scores. Ok... got it now. Strange they would weight so much on tonight's show. skywhopper
SCV's guard is awesome and very well utilized! Why shouldn't they win?

perc2100
Pretty sure they are booing the audio quality of the stream. :tongue:/> We've been over this before late: they're cheering for Michael Boo. Mr. Boo is too modest to accept the acclaim and instead chooses to sit back and let us knuckleheads debate back and forth about disparaging corps/judges/placements
