chaos001
Could you imagine being told mid season you are going to be an evil queen for a big chunk of the show? Now put on this tent and walk around the field! Especially if you're a guy who's a second year DM!
ShortAndFast
The Evil Queen is much better in the 1st half, when she interacts with the drill, than in the 2nd half. Her death scene is a total nonevent.
ShouldveMarchedAgeOut
I agree. What ever happened to hand written score on cardboard posted with duct tape? Nice sarcasm, but since I wasn't born in the 70s, I could care less about cardboard and duct tape. It's 2013 grow up.
somerville
I bet the Evil Queen puppeteers were laughed at and bullied by the Mean Girls Phantomettes.
hughesmr
Yikes, trumpet!
N.E. Brigand
They really need to not do close ups of guards "acting". It has to be extremely over-exaggerated due to the distance from the audience to convey the estate, but it looks ridiculous in close up. In general I'm thinking high cam is the way to go--that's the perspective the show is designed for, and invariably while in a close up, they're missing something else just as important. The Evil Queen would likewise benefit (a little) from not being shown so close up--and especially not when she's killed, since both last night and tonight we could see her puppeteers at that moment. Kamarag
Phantom was better in visual and guard, but Bluecoats are killing them in music. Wow. That said, sometimes I think Bluecoats design team outsmarts themselves going for a high level of sophistication. It's ok to give the kids something bad-### and tell the kids to let 'er rip.

hughesmr
This show could use a big Evil Uncle Sam.
