Soooo....as a tribute let's see if we can name all of the corps that Tommy Swan taught over the years. Here is my recollection to start the list, but I am sure there are more corps!

Senior

-Skyliners

-Skyliners Alumni

Junior

-Saints - Woodbridge/Edison, NJ

-Valley Grenadiers - Hillsboro, NJ

-Imperial Guardsmen. Livingston, NJ (I marched here)

-Meadowlarks - Secaucus, NJ

-Lucky Ladies, Rockaway, NJ

-Emerald Grenadears, Rockaway, NJ

-Black Watch - NJ

-Sundowners - Dumont, NJ

Maybe?

-Fantasia?

-Dukes?

OLPH Ridgemen, Brooklyn, NY

Melrose Blackhawks, Melrose, NJ

"The Original" Mighty St. Joe's, Newark, NJ (while he still marched there)

I am not 100% Shure but I think he was first arranger for the Bridgemen.

Hey Leo ... not sure is Bucky was the first ... their history page lists Kazasian and Gussie as the first instructors ... Bucky's name shows up as the Bridgemen arranger around 67-68 ...

:-)

I don't think Gussie ever arranged for us. But was one heck of a clean up man.

I know he was teaching St Andrew's in 68/69 when I was in the Imperial Guardsmen.

So who taught all those St. Andrew's kids to triple tongue like that?
