REAL Drum Corps died when they replaced the flife woodwind with the bugle. The only hope now for Drum Corps is to ditch all the brass instruments and fully evolve to all the newer woodwinds. ( it'll still be " Drum Corps " ) But change happens slowly sometimes. But we can still learn to be patient and enjoy the ride in the meantime, imo.
