Kamarag
Too much narration! Show is growing on me though. It's not narration, it's voice over. It's easy to confuse the two...but yea, it's pretty heavy and unnecessary most of the time. Which is sad, as the kid does it well. Reminds me of Cadets' "This I believe" if it had been done with decent voice acting.
How_Will_It_End?
I'm sorry Colts I can not stomach this show at all. A big part of me wants to like them so much (Because I LOVED their show last year)...but I have to agree.

Gloryah
This is the first time I've seen or heard this show. I have to say that I like it. A lot. I'm not usually a fan of these talker, talking, while the corps provides back up music...ala Cadets...but this one works for me. It's an interesting take on Oz and the Pink Floyd music fits.
Lincoln
I'm really trying. I really am. But I just don't get the Colt's show. Who wrote that narration?
Slingerland
See, and to my mind, if you're going to do a show that uses a lot of voiceover/character work, you have to put on your big kid pants and go all the way with it (which Colts do). Blue Knights use a lot of voiceover too, but don't go big the same way. They're playing it safer, but it's less convincing, as a result. All IMHO, of course. Kamarag
On a more positive note, that "Just Play" spot from NAMM is really cool.
ShortAndFast
OK, Colts was pretty ... ah ... unexpected. I can't really imagine the design meeting where someone actually proposed an evil scarecrow meets Pike Floyd, but the design works surprisingly well.
ftwdrummer
I'm really trying. I really am. But I just don't get the Colt's show. Who wrote that narration? Among others, Pink Floyd (quotes from "Dark Side"), Radiohead (quotes from "Creep"), and William Shakespeare (Richard III). Who assembled it: not sure, but IIRC, Sully brought the guy who consulted with Cadets on their narration this year in to work on this show as well, so probably him. This is definitely a love/hate show...but I fall in the former category. Some weird brass sticking-out across FN, but that may have to do with mic placement. Voice-over came through well, and worked a bit better now than it did earlier in the season. His costume changed a bit, too...looks much more Scarecrow-ish. All in all, while I don't think this show makes Finals (don't see it passing XMen), I can't wait to see it in theaters.
