hughesmr Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Percussionist here .... after listening to LOTS of lines on different brands of drums and using different tuning aesthetics, I'm finding that regardless of brand and tuning approach, that Remo heads just sound a lot better than Evans on battery. I really am not for lip syncing but if, as people have complained, the mic issues have happened many times, then is that something the corps should be thinking about for Indy? Simple.
