Gloryah
On multi-cam, I have to turn my system volume to max. It's a little better on high-cam.
bluesman
Love the silks. Pretty and effective. Go Jersey Shore.
CrownBariDad
Volume OK -- mix/balance is another thing entirely (and I'm only talking about the feed, not Surf). [High cam feed] Edited August 2, 2014 by CrownBariDad

Kamarag
As was stated last night, "J. Birney Crum...she never lies". She's not particularly fond of Surf's brass, that's for sure.
SFZFAN
I think this is a step up from last year for Surf. The Bridgemen show 2 years ago was fun as hell though!
Kamarag
I think this is a step up from last year for Surf. The Bridgemen show 2 years ago was fun as hell though! I agree regarding the arrangements. Thematically, it's just not coming across. Granted, I had the thing explained to me back in May, but still. I know it's got to be hard to go back to the sophisticated approach after two years of being crazy, in-your-face entertaining. Perhaps they can find a good middle ground next year? Caption wise, the brass line is still the weak link. But overall the level of performance tonight might be the best ever for the corps. bluesman
So what? It is summer. It is supposed to be hot. It is a summer activity. We manages to march (& perform) BITD during the warmer parts of the day, and without all the hydration and attention the performers now get. And look at the list of 1977 performers a few pages back - all of them managed to handle the heat. So as the saying goes: "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen".
rainshdw08
Sorry I couldn't update this thread earlier. Looks like a beautiful night for Drum Corps. This is why I don't always rely on what the weather models are telling me....because every single one was completely and utterly wrong today. No rain near the stadium for hundreds of miles. No rain forecast until.after 11pm...of which I think will be after midnight.
