1. Blue Knights - simply a beautiful show. My favorite of the year.

2. SCV - always a fan of SCV but they show you can still do a drum corps show without an overload of electronics and voice overs.

3. BD - I'm usually not a fan of their shows but I respect the fact that they are virtually spotless.

4. Crossmen - Great to see them back in Finals. It was clear early season 12th was theirs and they never let it go.

5. That's all I got.

I said in another thread it was a BLUE year for me:

Bluecoats--just love them every year and this year theyTILTed it all --not since 2008 has a finals night been so great for the audience IMO

Blue Devils--Such control in every aspect

Blue Knights--the music was great

Blue Stars--the show really grew on me and loved it all by saturday

Crown--so wanted them to maintain their place after last year--but by the end the music had me in tears

Cavaliers--loved seeing them get a hold of their style again with strength

Blue Devils - every time I watch in I gain new respect for it. And the music is outstanding.

Crown - the brass sound fills my heart with joy

Bluecoats - fun, and comprehensive theme. Awesome drum line. Just enough electronics for cool effect.

Blue Knights - I get tears watching it

Phantom Regiment - Not one for the ages, but still a great sounding show

I now thats only five. I appreciate all the shows, but these are the ones I want to keep re-watching.

1. SCV. I loved pretty much everything about the design. Music, guard, uniforms, props.

2. BK. Emotional, great story, great use of props, great use of narrative. Fought back tears at finals.

3. BAC. What a big middle finger to dci. Love everything about this corps. Vou for president.

4. Cavies. They are finally back, it seems. It was the first cavies show that felt and looked like it in a few years, i missed them.

5. Crown. It looked like a fun show. The brass is outstanding. I like their show designers.

Honorable mentions to...

Colts

Pacific Crest

Cascades

Bluecoats - modern show that had it all

Cavaliers - best use of color by anyone, and a clever show

Boston - sort of a mess, but the most interesting thing I've seen in a while

Crown - the good parts were REALLY good

1. Bluecoats - crowd favorite, original concept

2. Crown - another crowd favorite, not as emotionally connected as in the past, but fun to watch (and I'm sure fun to play)

3. Blue Devils - hard year for anyone to hate the blue devils

4. Santa Clara - great visual and percussion (preferred 2004 better though)

5. Cadets - great music to listen to

6. Blue Stars - solid music, underappreciated
