That is weird, because after tonight, drum corps season in northern California is pretty much over, and the fun continues elsewhere with more polished shows.. While i do enjoy seeing shows in late july and early august here in the midwest, my favorite corps arent always at my local show. Cleveland1 Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 I don't want this thread to die. I suppose some excitement for this show is lost because BD doesn't attend. SCV will win but their score won't mean much since it won't be compared to BD directly like the last 3 nights. As long as BK's show is incomplete we will keep guessing as to whether they will really be up with Phantom and Cavies this year. They appear to be the top non g7 corps this year though, although we wont know until san antonio. The real battles are PC vs Mandarins and BDB vs SCVC. Of course those going to the show will be treated to great performances and programs, but those unable to attend i suppose arent as excited as they are for other shows featuring grouped corps in the east.
