BRASSO Posted December 31, 2015 Share Posted December 31, 2015 (edited) Its not " Heavy Metal", but I did enjoy SCV's foray into the modern Hip Hop music genre in their 2001 production of " New Era Metropolis " . I found it to be new, fresh, young, hip, modern, urban. Even the Guard dance moves in that 2001 show production was super hip and cool, imo. I really thought SCV had hit a new wave musically at the time and was going to be the Drum Corps music innovator again that we all used to know and love. But alas, after that season SCV went back to their Way Back Machine and subsequently returned to playing mostly the dead white composers music from long, long ago.
