Newseditor44
Tonight's panel is a BD panel, Tomorrow could favor Bloo, Saturday night is very Crown friendly. This is going to be a fun three nights! Look at the panels. The results could be completely different all three nights this year.
kevingamin
Wow. I'm actually high enough I can see the horn line behind the main stage.
ZachDrumCorps
Late discussion but...I just saw the BDB number. WOW. Almost into world class finals range...
Newseditor44
The talent in Concord is unbelievable and the march the heck out of that show. They deserve to be a title contender. Just not my cup of tea. I'd go Meh+. I like the show, don't get me wrong. But it's not as good as Coats/Crown/SCV imho. It'd be fourth if I had my way.
kevingamin
Something happened. One of the horn players was late getting out to his spot when the horns ran out. He recovered but it was a little weird.
mboogey73
Coats show features a surprisingly small amount of full ensemble playing. Ramps are effective though.

wvu80
Lol, that's like 10 feet. I jumped off higher as a kid. Study the picture. The guard members provide perspective. I would make the point, there is a difference between jumping off a pedestal ten feet in the air and falling off. Both are dangerous, the latter could be fatal if the person landed on their neck. kevingamin
Heat of the Day. One of my favorite Metheny selections, even before drum corps used it.
Jaltrogge
I didn't say the coach was 20 feet tall. Look at the guard members pushing, double that, and then the guard member (also a soloist) is standing on a pedestal that puts them 20 feet in the air. Look at the Bluecoats half-pipes, those things put a standing guard member up there as well, not to mention Cadets wedding cake. I guess I'm kind of confused. If we assume that the guard member, hunched over, is 5 feet tall, then I would venture to guess that the carriage is about ten feet tall. Meaning that the guard members feet are about 10 feet off of the ground. I'm not sure what "pedestal" you're talking about from looking at the picture. P.s. I didn't watch the stream tonight, so I may be missing something.
